Welcome to the Special Needs Foundation of Cayman (SNFC).  

The Foundation is the first place to call for support, information and education for Special Needs in Cayman.

What is Special Needs?

Special Needs can be defined as an individual with particular educational requirements resulting from learning difficulties or emotional and behavioral difficulties.  Some of the types of special needs prevelant in today's society includes autism spectrum disorder, dyslexia, obsessive compulsive disorder and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder.

Why the Special Needs Foundation?

SNFC was established for the needs of individuals and families in our community.  SNFC advocates for individuals and families by providing on-going education about the needs of the special needs community.  Support offered through the Foundation includes information for families, professionals, individuals and those interested in special needs.  Developing the maximum support for individuals is achieved through the SNFC Education in the wider community.

The Special Needs Foundation of Cayman (SNFC) was officially incorporated in December 2008. It is a charitable, non-profit organization of parents, educators and professionals committed to supporting children with a range of special needs across the Cayman Islands.
